Withdrawal and complaints
Consumer rights, a model withdrawal notice and complaint contacts.
Consumer withdrawal
Consumers normally have 14 days from contract conclusion to withdraw from a distance service or non-physical digital-content contract. Missing statutory information can extend the period. Exceptions for early supply require the applicable express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation; a generic terms checkbox is insufficient. Digital-content and service exceptions differ.
Send an unequivocal notice before the deadline. No reason is required. Applicable refunds are due within 14 days of receipt, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed without fees. Any charge for a partly supplied service needs the statutory basis; it is not a blanket penalty for opening a course.
Model notice — copy into an email or letter
To: TTA s. r. o., Kvetná ulica 244/12, 930 41 Kvetoslavov, Slovakia; info@ttaservices.net.
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following course/service: [course and order or contract reference]. Ordered/concluded on: [date]. Consumer name: [full name]. Consumer address: [address]. Confirmation email: [email]. Date: [date]. Signature: [only for a paper notice]. Delete the bracketed prompts and supply your details.
Online withdrawal function
The hosted service must also provide an easily accessible online withdrawal function, followed by explicit confirmation and prompt acknowledgement on a durable medium containing the notice and timestamp. That function is not yet implemented in this review build. This model notice and an email link do not replace it; consumer sales must not launch until it is ready.
Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
Report access problems, incorrect billing or defective course delivery to info@ttaservices.net, +421 917 753 910, or the registered office. Include your contact details, order/course reference, what happened and the remedy requested. Keep a copy. TTA will acknowledge the complaint and assess the statutory remedy; a failed exam by itself does not demonstrate defective service.
If TTA refuses a consumer’s request for redress or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer may apply to an appropriate alternative dispute resolution body. Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia publishes its procedure and eligibility rules at the link below. This does not remove the right to pursue a claim in court. Business customers follow their signed agreement and applicable law.
